I am a huge fan of The Who. Without question The Who is one of my favorite all time bands and has had a big impact on my life. I am not alone. Jack Black and Kyle Gass of Tenacious D are also true fans. The clip above is  a section of The Who playing Won’t Get Fooled Again from their movie The Kids Are Alright. The clip below is  of The Tenacious D movie: The Pick Of Destiny.

Tenacious D performing a TOMMY medley. I saw them do this when they played MSG back in 2006. It was awesome!

Baba O’Riley written by Pete Townshend was inspired by the musician Terry Riley and the philosophies of Meher Baba. Meher Baba is probably best known for the phrase “Don’t Worry, Be Happy.”

Baba O’Riley  is the first track on The Who’s 1971 release Who’s Next

A Rainbow in Curved Air, Terry Riley’s album was released in 1967
